Vicky Biel suffered from alcohol problems. She had to leave her son to her ex-husband because of this. The desperate woman wants to "buy back" custody. She robs a bank. On the run, Vicky loses a large part of the stolen money. The remaining loot of 17,000 marks is not enough for her ex. One day later, the crook Johnny turns up at Vicky's house. He threatens to turn her in and forces her to kidnap a little girl - supposedly his daughter Sarah.
