On 3 May 2022, Cameron Mackintosh invited many of Stephen Sondheim’s old friends to join him in London’s West End for a thrilling, joyously staged production. He had specially devised it to celebrate Sondheim’s extraordinary talents as a composer and lyricist. Featuring an all-star cast including Michael Ball, Helena Bonham Carter, Rob Brydon, Petula Clark, Anna-Jane Casey, Rosalie Craig, Janie Dee, Judi Dench, Daniel Evans, Maria Friedman, Haydn Gwynne, Bonnie Langford, Damian Lewis and Julia McKenzie.

The popular musical is brought to life on soundstages at London's Three Mills Studio, in a live TV dramatisation of the timeless story of Maria and the Von Trapp Family singers, one of the world's best-known concert groups in the era immediately preceding World War II.
TOM COURTENAY and Nichola McAuliffe star in Ken Taylor's adaptation of the Noel Coward short story, "Me and the Girls", one of a series called "Noel Coward's The Master's Collection" co-produced by the BBC and Quintet, in association with the Arts and Entertainment Network. Tom Courtenay plays George Banks, a homosexual dancer, who looks back over his life as he lies dying in a Swiss sanatorium. The cast also includes Catherine Rabett and Robert Glenister. The play is directed by Jack Gold, the series producer is Alan Shallcross, and Victor Glynn is the executive producer.
